What are your opening hours for trying on dresses?

Do I need to make an appointment?

Appointments are preferred so we can best help you.

Walk-ins are welcome during business hours, except for Tuesday and Thursday when you need an appointment. If we are serving a customer, you might have to wait until that customer is finished or book an appointment to come back. You can browse through our collection while waiting. You cannot try on dresses without a consultant’s assistance.


How to book an appointment?

You can book online here. You can also call 0413 719 721 during business hours or simply pop in store to book one.


Appointment information

A standard appointment is for 1 hour. We allow up to 4 guests per bride per appointment.

Depending on our availability, we offer pre-booked extended appointments for an extra $25 per any additional half an hour and must be paid for within 2 hours at the time of booking.

The 1st two times of attendance (for walk-in customers) or the 1st two appointments are free of charge.

If no sale is made after these 2 first two times, an appointment fee of $50 per subsequent appointment applies. This fee needs to be paid within 48 hours at the time of booking, or we may have to reserve your appointment for the next customer. If you walk in the 3rd time, the fee must be paid prior to commencing any service provided by LDN Bridal.

If we offer you discount for ordering at 1st appointment, the next appointment will be for when the dress arrives. If you come into our store after the 1st appointment to try the sample(s), we will add the discount back to your invoice.

We prefer minimal makeup when trying on samples and strictly no tanning/body makeup when trying on samples.


What happens during my appointment?

We will have our sales assistant to help you try on dresses and any other accessories. There is no limit to the number of dresses you can try on within the appointment time you have booked.

We strongly recommend you browse through our website and social media prior to the appointment, to get an idea of what kind of styles we stock and what we do. You can show us other wedding dress pictures so we can help pick out gowns for you to try on.

Please do not attempt to try dresses on yourself or have someone other than LDN Bridal team help you as any damages caused to the dress will result in a full immediate compensation by the customer.

Please note measuring and filling out paperwork can take around 10-15 minutes. The sales consultant will let you know when there is 15 minutes left to see if you want to take advantage of the discount for buying/ordering at the 1st appointment.

Our in-house tailor is currently working 3 days a week at our shop and might be available to assist you with any custom making/alterations queries at your appointment directly. You do not have to get alterations done through us.


What do you sell?

We sell ready-to-wear wedding dresses that can be purchased off the rack or ordered in a standard size.

We sell ready-made veils, can also custom make veils.

We sell bridal hair accessories.


What is your custom making process?

We offer a wide range of customisation options to our collection, extra fees apply, and pre-approval is required.

We offer made to measure service to most gowns, extra fees apply, generally from $1,000 extra to your dress price.

Custom making from sketch/pictures is available. A sketch may be required prior to production, usually total price includes sketching (we only sketch for one final design). A fabric swatch may be required prior to production, however not always possible and dependent on the type of fabric and the fabric manufacturer’s policy can a swatch be obtained. Fabric swatch is to be done before any deposit is put down, and incurs a fee.

Custom making service provided by our Perth tailor does not include fabric cost. Some secondary material costs can be covered by us (lining, cups, bones, zipper, buttons, etc.). You must pick and buy fabric yourself. We can provide some advice and instructions on how much fabric to get.


What is your price range?

Most of our ready-made gowns are from $1,500 - $3,500. Some gowns are discounted to under $1000.

Custom making a design starts from $2,500. Please enquire in store for more information.

We offer discounts for customers ordering/buying at 1st appointments. Please see updates on our website and social media or enquire in store.

Prices quoted for you by LDN Bridal in writing are subject to change after 30 days.

Prices listed on our social media posts, if any, are only valid for 30 days from the date the post is made.

We only honour prices that are quoted in writing by LDN Bridal.


What sizes do you stock?

Most of our ready-made gowns are in size 6-16. We do have a small collection of gowns from size 22-24. Please note bridal sizing can be slightly different to casual clothing sizing.

Our gowns can be ordered in many different sizes.


How long in advance should I order my dress?

Our wedding dresses on average take 4-6 months to arrive/to be ready. Please also factor in 4 weeks for fittings/alterations. In general, we find 6 months will give most brides confidence to have their gown perfectly ready for the big day. We generally do not take orders with less than 3 months lead time.

If you have less than 3 months, you can buy off the rack gowns and get alterations done. Our Perth tailor can also help you create something appropriate within the timeframe.

We can accept rushed orders in some cases, extra fees apply.


How do I pay for my dress/order?

Payment can be made by EFT, Direct Debit or Credit Card or in Cash. Cheques will not be accepted at collection.

We require at least 50% to start an order and the rest can be paid once the dress arrives/is ready for fittings/alterations.

Layby for purchase of off the rack dresses is available. Layby T&Cs apply.


What is your return/exchange policy?

We endeavour to take good care of our customers. We will try our best to fix any arising problems and communicate with our customers within a reasonable timeframe. Any concerns need to be addressed in store and confirmed in writing with our team. If past 30 days we do not get a response from you, we will deem the issue to be solved.

An off the rack dress that has been tried on by other customers, reasonable wear and tear included but not limited to loose beads, lace, flowers, stitches are expected and as long as they do not make the dress completely unwearable under normal condition and good care from the customer, repairs for those minor faults are at the customer’s own expense, unless agreed otherwise.

A condition report form for off the rack dress will be issued prior to customer taking the dress out of LDN Bridal or leaving the dress at LDN Bridal for alterations.

LDN Bridal will take and store photos/videos of the condition of the dress as proof.

If gown given to a third party to fix, LDN Bridal will not hold responsibility for any issues.

LDN Bridal may refuse repairs with less than 1-week lead time to your event. Any concerns must be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

Any damage done by the customer due to transport and improper use will be the customer’s responsibility.

Unreasonable/malicious damage claims will be taken up to government’s authority.

We do not tolerate any form of abuse to our staff and reserve the right to refuse service.

LDN Bridal will not accept return/exchange after you have already worn the dress at your event.

Return/exchange policy will be in accordance with Australian Consumer’s Law.

Alterations service information

We have in-house tailors ready to assist you with alterations. Our tailors are available 3 days a week:

Our sales assistant can give you an estimate for alterations costs only and a final quote will be provided by one of our tailors.

We do alterations for many types of clothing, not just wedding dresses.
